For about the past month and a half or so I have been in quite a bit of pain when I have sex. I don't even know how to describe the pain or what it feels like.... IT HURTS!!!! The pain is about 2/3 to 3/4 of the way in and has been getting worse (now about a 7-8 on the pain scale). My boyfriend and I havent even been able to have sex for like 3 weeks because it hurts sooooo bad!!I have been to the doctor multiple times and they don't really even know what to make of it. They have ruled out all the common things like STD's, fibroid tumors and ovarian cysts. I don't know what else to do except find out if anyone else has had the same problem. Please help me!!

Hi there,

this is going to sound weird but here goes. I have the same problem if I have not had a bowel movement in a few days. I try to make sure that I go everyday so that I won't have pain. I take Colac if needed not all the time. Also when I was taking Prevacid for acid reflux it caused even more pain. I hope this helps

I think you need to go to a womens specialist. There should never be that much pain unless something is wrong. You must have some condition that is causing it and the sooner you find it out the better.

My first questions to you has this problem only existing with this boyfriend. And if so, he could be too big for you and if you not you might need to relax more and try not to think about whether or not it's going to be painful. Also, I would recommend KY jelly. You might need some lubrication.

I have a sharp pain (almost like gas) sometimes.
It's in the same place you described.
It usually happens when we're in a hurry
& don't have time for foreplay.
If you're not properly "preped"
it's just not that great anyway so try
takeing your time.
If that's not the case,
my guess is gas.

try going to a specialist that understands the affects about the problem, and try to limited on the sex or try to not put pressure on the vagina area.
