When you excercise you gain muscle and lose fat. this means that you might, technically, be gaining weight but you will be losing inches. If you want to lose inches, and just look better, then keep drinking a lot of water, keep excercising a lot (do not forget to weight lift!), eat 5 small meals a day, and make sure that they consist mostly of lean protein and fruits and veggies. NO OVER THE COUNTER CRAP. That will just make you unhealthy. Also, you may want to snack on a low-carb protein bar (i suggest myoplex low-carb) when youre feeling the urge to snack. and remember, losing weight is not the same as getting fit. Oh, and make sure that you limit the number of calories you eat each day. That will definitely help.

not eating during the day makes your body do weird things. It thinks it's not going to get food so it stores every bit it gets. It's a survival instinct - you can't change it.
Try fitday.com - you log everything you eat and it adds up the calories for you. It's WAY too easy to eat well over 2000 calories a day - even when you think you're eating healthy. I lost 20 pounds by just cutting back my calories to 1700 per day and exercising (30 minutes a day, 5 days a week). You'll make better choices if you feel like you have to log it in. A piece of cake doesn't seem like much, but when you see that you can have that, or dinner, it changes things :)
**I'm not saying you shouldn't have cake, you just have to make choices.

Well you should eat alot of healthy foods. Try walking twice or once a day for like a couple miles. That put me in good shape and skinner or go bike riding. That helps to. A diet you can go on is called the 90 10 diet where if you eat 90% of healty foods you can have 10% of junk foods which works to people advantage.

Eat small healthy portions six times a day, continue to drink lots of water and keep some amount of exercise, even if it's only a 20 minute power walk. Cut out sodas, junk food and fast food.

i guess just try to not eat at night, say after 8pm. it's hard, but if you do that then you might lose some pounds. also eat less portions of things...exercise helps too, but it's not as immediately effective for losing weight than dieting, but it is definitely good for you body...good luck

well that may be your problem right there. you have to eat at least 6 small meals a day. because say if you eat a bowl of cereal in the morning and then you don't eat again until dinner that's a long time to go without eating. see if you don't eat that much then your body thinks its starving and it stores the calories when you do eat.
i also read that you should eat at least the same amount of calories everyday. be consistent when you eat. also when you exercise you should try to burn more calories than you eat.

Cut ALL sugar out of your diet, even juices. Thats the number one thing.
Also, drastically cut down on bad carbs like white bread, highly processed pastas, potatoes, etc. Eat lots of grilled seafood and chicken. You can eat all the vegetables (grilled, steamed, raw, whatever) you want!!!
Last, drink lots of water.
This worked for me. I did it for 2 weeks and was getting TONS of compliments. I do not work out much at all and it was a noticable difference.
My fiance's mother is very much into fitness and working out. She recommended this for us and it works wonders.

excercise and your diet. Don't cut down eating to a minimum because when you don't eat properly your body hangs onto everything you do eat. stay away from greasy foods, but get lots of excercise, try swimming, biking, jogging, then try doing more physical excercise like stomach crunches, squats.
