I was thinking something like the 'Middle of the Road' party or "Common Sense" party because personally I am sick to death of Democrats and Republicans and I don't think they represent individually how most Americans feel ..yes we have the Green Party and Libertarian but they only take away from the two biggies...wanna join...vote yep or nope...no more yea or nay ....we're changing it all!

i wasn't 'grouping' the libertarians and green parties only mentioning them because they are the 'third parties' group and are already existant...if you read my post its about starting a whole new party.

Good idea, but we already have other parties that cannot get enough of the people's votes to make a difference such as the Libertarian and Green parties. What we need is for the American people to realize that they just don't have to either vote democrat or republican but they can vote outside those two parties.

Americans today seem to vote for their favorite party the way they root for their favorite football team... with no understanding of what their party truly stands for.

I answered a question earlier about who would make a good woman president. Half the people answering were saying Oprah! Oprah? President? Is this truly how out of touch Americans are with their government? Why not run Bozo the clown?

No. I like the democrats. Maybe I might change to Vermont Progressives or Working Families so I can have a left wing party that doesn't keep inclining to the centre.

I'd prefer a "Much Further Right" party. The Republicans seem to do too many lefty type things now days.
