Shark Reef, it also contains about 2000 live animals, and from what I remember they even raise some of their own jelly fish.
Although the wait in line may be longer than the one at the Mirage.
Either one you attend ask your hotel concierge to see if there are any discounts you may be able to package 3 events for a small discount when combined. If you don't care about that they both are around $15
The last time I went the wait in line was about 1 hour. They provide the wands so you push a button and listen to the prerecorded message about what you are viewing. Very nice.
Go to www.mandalaybay.com click on the shark reef and then on virtual tour see some of the items you will be looking at.
Enjoy

The Mandalay Bay Shark Reef is AWESOME! The Dolphin habitat was cool too but I don't know... maybe the sharks are just scarier. Dolphins are so cute but the sharks were scary to be that close too! Enjoy whichever you see!

I like the Mirage Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat. I've spent hours there and not felt rushed. At Shark Reef, I felt ushered in and ushered out.

The talking statues performance in Caesars Palace Shops area is free and it very near the big FAO Schwartz toy store where there is a huge Horse and every kind of toy a kid would want. Inside the Venician there are gondolas poling down a canal and free performances by singers and jugglers & etc. The overhead light display on Freemont street is also free and like a three block long street party in the evenings.

I wouldn't waste my money on either. Just go in Ceasers Forum shops and find the free aquarium. Its right next to the Cheese cake Factory restaurant.
