yes but keep the sensors from the original engine to put back on the replacement engine. saves headaches because then if the part goes bad you know its from the 96 olds, especially the ignition system and the gauge sensors, well as i said, all the sensors

yes the motor mounts should be the same and the rest of the equipment and electronics should work.
