im 16 and i dont mean to sound big headed or anything but i have had about 7-8 boys after me and i can't push myself to meet any of them? why is this?

At 16, it's a good thing that you don't run around with guys.
Maybe you know deep down that they aren't for you. Maybe you are smart and think that school and friends are more important that guys. Whatever the reason, you're probably doing the smart thing by not letting yourself go crazy after them.
If you feel shy or uncomfortable around them, try double or group dating. That way you aren't stressed about being alone with him. It's a lot of fun when there are several people around, less chance of conversation falling flat, and almost no chance of the guys getting carried away, i.e. acting like an octopus.
Don't push yourself until you are ready. It never works out well. All you do is make yourself unhappy, and then regret it.

I know how you feel. I'm only 14 and have had lots of OLDER guys after me. My dentist even put a move on me! Just say no and if they ask why tell them that you're not ready to date or that you don't see them that way. Trust me, it's important not to give in besides it's not like dating is a race or something. When you find a guy you really like and can see yourself with then things will start falling into place.

Because your still young and a little afraid. Nothings wrong with that. Being shy is alright if you don't let it take over you life. Pick out the three you like the best and set up some phone time for you to get to know them better and take it from there. Maybe your nervous because you know what (some) guys expect (sex). Be honest and tell them straight up, "you not ready to pursue sex" but you would like to get to know them better. You decide when the time is right for you and not when someone else is ready. i'm no longer positive that this qualifies as an emergency, yet...right here it is going. No, i do no longer shave above my knee, basically below. even with the undeniable fact that, in the course of the summer time and skirt season, I used to get my higher leg waxed. Then, at the same time as i began getting too many ingrown hairs, I were given laser hair eliminating, it quite is fantastic and likely too extreme priced for an adolescent.

well, lucky girl! you must not like them if you wont meet them. if you do meet someone you like, why not invite a friend and make it a double date. that way you can do a runner if he turns out to be a geek! believe me when the right boy asks you out you wont be able to stop yourself! good luck!

maybe you are just not ready. don't push yourself you have plenty of time. you are only 16, don't be in a hurry to grow up, enjoy your childhood. trust me..
