You can burn it on a DVD but can't play it on a reg cd but you can play it on a DVD player and not have to worry about anything I prefer playing it this way because I have no worries about changing cd's ;)

Not that I know of. You're dealing with two different data compression ratios I don't believe CD players can read the info on DVD discs because DVDs are to compressed.

You can put songs on there, but a normal cd player wont read it. Whatever you want to replay it on must be able to read DVD's. The songs would also need to be in mp3 format.

Nope. You can burn them on DVD as either data or mp3 files (more data will fit, obviously) and play them through your stereo on DVD player, but not on regular CD player.

No dvd are for movies cd-r are for music I tried that.

u don't call a DVD-R a cd..it is totally different.
and you can not burn music to a DVD-r

yes the only thing that you cant do is re-write it unless it says RW on it. if its just an R cd you can only write it once.
