No it is not safe to say that because there has been a lot of voter fraud going on ever since 2000.

It's never a safe bet. You could have said the same thing about the last presidential election.
1) people disapproved of everything Bush was doing
2) they were looking for a viable alternative
All the Dems had to do was have a mediocre candidate who was able to have a rational thought and he would of won by a land slide...
But they picked Kerry... and the rest is history.
People aren't happy with the Reps but if there isn't a viable alternative, I can see the Reps keeping the majority.
Edit: The only thing that is assured in politics is that money ALWAYS speaks louder than voters. Sad but true...

No way. The lack of an overall plan for anything except saying it is all GWB's fault will not play. It is already showing itself in CT where Lieberman has a huge advantage over Lamont. If they could come up with some actual ideas on policy they might have a chance. Remember, most voters in this country are not welded to a political party, and dislike nothing but negativity. Come up with ideas (like the Republicans Contract with America in 1994) and they might have a chance, run the races the same way and they have no shot.

There is too much time between now and November to make any claims like that. Anything can happen and often does. Look for a big quasi-manufactured "incident" from our current administration to occur as an October Surprise.

That's what prominent,long-standing Conservative columnists are saying.
David Broduer,Pat Buchanon and even George Will have predicted large gains for Deomcrats this November to offset the corruption and waste that has come to define the Republican party.

The problem with liberal conventional thinking is that it is conventional. I am not saying it could not happen, I am saying that Republicans are raising money at a 3 to 1 pace. The Democrats do not have a program.

Nope - November is still 2 months away & Bush has another terror plot to foil and reveal on October 31. At least that's what liberals are dreaming!

I hope not, I no longer want the republican party to be voted out, I want America to come to the full realizitaton of their lies and failed policies and throw them out!
Bush is down to a 32% approval rating which means 1/3 of his supporters no longer believe him, with two more years of lying to do when will America say Enough Already!

With things going so well at the moment, I expect to see the majority to increase, but decrease. Of course if something major happens between now and then, it could change.
