Start by going into Internet Explorer, click on Tools and select Internet Options.
Click on the Content tab and Enable the Content Advisory
You will get slide bars that enable you to block content
Set a password (Under the Gereal tab of the Content area) so no one can change the settings without permission
This will block a lot until you can purchase a program like Cybernanny for more complete censorship

Then you should keep an eye on your son at all times when he's on the computer. It doesn't matter what you put up to block porn there is always going to be a way to get around it.

There are several applications that can 'block' innapropriate material. They are not perfect however. I've used CyberSitter and it's pretty good. You can limit the time of day, or key words or 'types' of sites (which are in a list that is downloaded by CyberSitter.

The real question here is 'How do I become a more effective parent so that I can teach my son right and wrong and how to respect women, and how to find enjoyment through more positive ways?'
