yes, but FANTASIA BARRINO was and still is the best. but ill still watch it just because.

I'm looking forward to it! The auditions are hilarious and the best part of the whole shebang. I can do without Paula and Randy, but Simon's comments are always worth a listen. So far Kelly is the best Idol. I liked Fantasia also, but I won't buy her music, because it's not what I listen to usually. Taylor is good, but Chris should have one. I don't understand that at all!
While I'm here, might I add that the voting system is ridiculous. Each household or phone number should be allowed ONE call each. Not this asinine 50 phone calls per person thing! That's the only part that REALLY really sucks.

I have to watch it. I don't exactly know why, I just do.
I agree that no winner will ever top Kelly Clarkson's success. I caught her concert this summer and she seriously rocked. I consider myself a fan of rock/metal/country, so I was a bit skeptical at first. But she absolutely impressed me. She was truly born to win that competition.
As for my favorites, the only other one I really like is Taylor. Fantasia ruined her win being too busy with her sob stories, and I haven't heard much of her music since. Ruben dropped off the face of the earth. And Carrie Underwood is a robot.

Kelly is my favorite, i havent watched the show since its soo over played now. There really is no point in watching it the artist that wins is always the one that doesnt deserve it, plus they never go anywhere. The only one that went places is Kelly Clarkson, all the rest drop out from the radar like a year later

I will definitely be watching next season! I was so happy Taylor won. He is very different from all of the past winners, and it was an exciting show to watch. I was rooting for Chris to win the whole time, and almost stopped watching when he got voted off, but I'm happy with the end result.

I have watched American Idol since the first season. I wouldnt miss it for anything. I really like Taylor. But if your looking for my favorite contestent so far on the show it would have to be Bo Bice. I also really like JPL from I think the 3rd season, not because he was a good singer, I just loved his personality.

My fave American Idol is Kelly Clarkson and I stopped watching the show after Chris Daughtry got booted off. I have no intentions of ever watching it again.
