Figure out what you're really passionate about. Never pursue a career just because you think it will provide you the most money - if you chase the money but "sell out" on your own values to chase it, the money will always get farther and farther away, and you'll be miserable AND broke.

Pursue a broad, general college education, work for a couple years in something you think you will love, and then go to graduate school. You will need at least a Masters-level degree to compete in the global economy, or you'll need intense, unstoppable entrepreneurial drive, or better yet, both.

It is almost always better to have your own business than to work for a corporation. Build something of your own - something that's aligned with your values and that expresses your passions in life - and you'll be secure, happy, and maybe even rich.

My advice would be to know yourself and be true to yourself. You are the only person you will know for an entire life time, birth to death. Don't be afraid of failure, but learn from your mistakes. And, learn how to relax and blow off steam. If you can relax, you can do anything.

start looking for jobs before graduating. start talking to your career advisor or go to your placement office at your university to get information on career fairs and/or companies that will be recruiting on campus.
