As an Aries who has been in a very loving relationship for 3 years with a Libra I say it can definetly work. But you have to work at making it work. No relationship is easy, You have to be willing to put in the time and energy. And don't forget love and respect, those are some of the most important things.
Like a typical Aries I'm hot tempered, stubborn and I like things my way. So I have had to learn to curb my tongue and compromise. My Libra, who is pretty mellow and calm guy, he just goes with the flow, he has had to learn to be more assertive and start making some decisions.

I think it depends more on your specific situation if your aries has a bad temper that he can't keep under control then it may be difficult. Likewise there are aries out there who can control their temper. So it depends on the person I guess. I know because my sister is a Libra and her boyfriend is an aries, and they are madly in love. sex will be great but the problems start when Aries goes to fast for Libras taste. don't plan on marriage. but good sex partners and friendship. Aries needs to be good and tactful in communication
