Being well mannered hasn't a time reduce. plenty relies upon on the guy and how organised that individual is. when you're the type that surely forgets then probably brilliant to thank someone once available. when you're an organised type and per chance keep a itemizing of presents you receive etc then you truthfully can deliver thanks's at your convenience. i understand with wedding ceremony presents very frequently the couple wait till sometime after the marriage to deliver their thanks playing cards. this is remembering to deliver the thanks it really is major, not even as it arrives. All stated i'd not leave it to lengthy because it may be embarrassing and also a contact that the guy thinks you have not any manners in case you've been to satisfy up and they had to ask you in case you acquire/cherished the present they'd given you.

You shouldn't wait. The sooner the better. If you're like me, you buy the cards immediately, you leave them at home when you should take them to work. You don't have them when you have time to do them, so that kills a couple of days. Then, you take them to work, but you forget the addresses, which of course, are at home. So you still do them at work, they just don't have the addresses on them, so you take them home but you've put the name on each envelope with that special pen which is of course, at work. So, you take the notes and the address book to work, and get them all done, but now they need stamps, which are at home, or you have to buy them. I guess 2 weeks isn't that bad. Please, tell me I am not the only one!! I have good intentions...But this isn't about me. If you are a fairly organized person, within the next week is good.

I don't think there is a waiting period. You should send out thank you cards within 2 weeks.

There is no alloted time to begin, but you should finish sending them within the next four to six weeks of recieving whatever it was. It can depend on what the thank you's are from, wedding gifts, baby shower, house-warming...Wedding and house-warming gifts should recieve a thank you within the four to six weeks. Baby shower gifts should usually be done asap since once the baby arrives, time is hard to find, and they can get shoved under the rug.

For a Wedding Shower, Baby Shower, Anniversary, B-day or another type of gift at the latest 1 week. If you receive the gift at your wedding, then no later than 2 weeks after you get back from you honeymoon.

Not long. Send them within a week or two, if possible, but better late than never.

you shouldn't delay writing the card. once you open the present, write the card and put it in the mailbox. The longer you wait, the more teh person thinks ur ungreatful and if they don't get in 2 weeks then you r in big trouble

I send them right away so I don't forget who gets them and what the cards were for.
