P.S.-when I say latino iI mean mexican,cuban, puerto rican,columbian,etc. music

Why can't you like both of them. I like rock and classic, Spanish and Irish, hip hop and country. Nothing wrong with that!

Latino music sucks. It's a bunch of weird guitar things. American music is the best, except for rap and country.

i doubt there is a way to win this argument since it's always a matter of preference (and some people cannot be convinced otherwise or are to thick skulled to see the others point of view). for me, it all depends on the mood i want to be in... or the music i want to listen to that will compliment my mood.
so if i want something that has a good beat or something to dance to, then I'll listen to Latin music (can you say ivy queen?) or when i want a nice somewhat traditional ballad I'll listen to Mexican music... when i want work out or drive for awhile, I'll listen to rock (alternative, classical, etc... can't listen to Latin music, i get the urge to dance and it screws up my rhythm), when I'm out hiking i listen to classical or Peruvian music (yeah, yeah... somewhat cliche but i still like it when i go for a nice nature walk), and when I'm out drinking with friends... anything goes!
so which one is better? like i said, it all depends on my mood... if i'm in a sad mood i might listen to puddle of mudds "she hates me" or if i'm in a wistful mood i might listen to mana's "hechicera"... the best music... is the one that compliments how i feel at the moment you ask, none is better than any other.

I despise the favored american music that gets performed consistently yet returned on an identical stations, yet while its between that absolute organic trash asking alexandria or a number of that undesirable (only earbleeding) german dubstep trash which you published i could %. the terrible asking alexandria band.

American music is the best.
The best American music is ROCK.
You can even dance to it. The club I used to go to would play AC/DC's You shook me all night long. In rock form. No techno added to it.

I think any music is good. I listen to everything. A little hip hop, raggae, raggaeton, cumbia, rock, alternative, house, underground, club, oldies, ranchera, country and r&b. If you like music, you will know what music to listen to.
