Okay, this guy and I are very good friends online. He's taken, I'm not, and this is not a date or an attempt to take him away, I am just stopping by a park tomorrow where his band is playing to meet him (he knows I'm coming) and hear the show, m-a-y-b-e go for coffee afterwards. But I would like to make a good impression, as he works in clothing retail in his other job, and it may be the only time we meet, or only time for quite a while.

I am pretty but quite a bit overweight in the belly and thighs. What shall I wear?:

Matching medium-tones green and blue flowered blouse and skirt to ankles that I've had many compliments on?

Same blouse, knee length denim skirt?

Lighter blue print top that really sets off my blue eyes, one of my best features? Either of those tops and a navy cotton knee length skirt?

Please let me know which to wear. Guys' and girls' comments welcome. And, being that this is in a park -- flat sandals? Wedge heels? THANKS FOR THE HELP!! Can't wait to meet him!

If you like him and he likes you, then wear something casual. I would suggest a knee length denim skirt and that medium tones green and blue flowered blouse. For shoes flat sandals. In my own opinion I would suggest dark bottom something a little lighter like in a blue color since it shows one of your best features. In general I think a V cut is always attractive.

Make sure that the print in the blouse is small, you don't want big prints, they make you look bigger. I will go with the lighter blue print top, a pair of really nice fitting jeans and flat sandals. Keep it casual.
Despite my recommendation, the most important thing is that you wear anything that will assure that you will be comfortable.
Remember, it's not the clothe, it's the hanger!
And please please don't make use and abuse of the make up! Less is better, a nice pinkish lip gloss sounds enough to me

I would suggest wearing some nice different jeans and a cute little button down top or any cute top that might match the jeans you picked. Because if you come to dress up you will stand out like you tried to stay out and you dont want that you want him to know i am just an average girl and i dont think i am all that but i know i am pretty message.

flowered blouse, knee length denim skirt, wedge heels. whatever you do, don't wear knit fabric on the bottom - that makes most people look fatter than they really are. and NOT flat sandals - that makes your ankles/legs look stumpy.
hope this helps :-)

Try an off shoulder V-Neck. Show your bones but don't over do it with revealing your breast.
Color: Baby blue
or black on a black skirt.

Whatever you do, just make sure you try to accentuate your waist (maybe by a top gathered at the waist or a little velvet belt tied into a bow). DONNOT wear a thick belt of a contrasting color- it cuts you into 2 parts.

Stick to similar tones all over your body, its gives you height.

I think the light blue top and navy skirt and flat sandals sounds nice. but it's hard to tell without seeing them.

You should wear whatever YOU feel best in. It will carry over to your attitude if you feel confident and comfortable. You want him to like you for you anyways, not your skirt.

I think you should wear whichever outfit you're most comfortable and confident in. Since you'll be doing a lot of standing in the park, I'd wear comfortable shoes that compliment the outfit.

Since you're just friends, try not to worry so much about what you look like, and just be yourself, and have fun.

My suggestion is that you have to bear in mind to respect yourself and your own body. Don't dress up like you have all the curves if you don't. That will be sending a strong message that your head is not on your shoulder. You are just making a fool of yourself. So dress proper and you will look classy especially when you are pretty. Good luck. God bless.

identity p.c.. this one: Matching medium-tones green and blue flowered shirt and skirt to ankles that i've got had many compliments on? My reason for it rather is considering which you're saying you have had many compliments, I dont know with reference to the the remainder of the international yet I dont tell somebody that they look sturdy in some thing until eventually I recommend it and Im no longer one handy out compliments besides. additionally pass with the flat sandals, in case you do with the wedge heels you may crumple or some thing stupid and geez wouldnt that be embarassing?
