The Philippines is really in bad condition right now... and its getting worse. The government is not in control...actually they're doing nothing good for the country . Personaly, I think its them who's messing up the country. The land where the rich becomes richer, and the poor suffers for life. Finish school, get a degree...you still aint getting no job. The government, politicians, law enforcers, justice...they're not in control. MONEY controls them! They're sick!!! Sometimes I think the Philippines can never recover on its own. I even think that the best way the Philippines can do is to let other countries like America to take over and control the country. Where's my pride as a filipino? Pride will take you nowhere, all I want is for my country to become a better place to live in. Lets face the truth,we filipinos cant run a country on our own...especially when your government leaders really suck! Like the ones we have right now. I really feel so bad for my country...please help.

Having been there, and met many Filipinos, I know that they are the friendliest people on Earth, so the problem isn't the people...
People, especially people in power, are too money-oriented. (You said that yourself.) Many of the people have no choice except to be money-oriented because its the only way they can survive.
I'm thinking the Philippines needs a bit of national pride. Say, like having a sports team win gold at the olympics or something. People need to take pride in what they do, and not accept bribes or do a second-rate job. I realize that "pride goeth before a fall," but the other extreme isn't all that great either. Just a little bit of pride would be helpful.
The government would be more in control if people saw that the government was benefitting them. For so many people, what the government does could matter less to them, because it does not affect their lives in the slightest. Some people are going to kill me on this, but making the government a little bit more socialist would help a bit. (I repeat, NOT communist.) Say, like, medicare, reliable electricity, no taxes until annual income is above $5000, something like that. Some of these things may already be happening; in which case I suggest that they should be continued.
Finally, people need to have individual initiative. Business entrepreneurs are needed--and lots of them. Businesspeople to build factories on bank loans and export goods around the world, people with compassion to pay their workers a decent wage. (And for those rich people who are too selfish, a minimum wage needs to be imposed.) More money is needed in the Philippines, and the only way that will happen is if the money doesn't keep flowing out (talking about you, Marcos). Reducing imports would also help. The best way to start this is by having high educational standards--every child should be in school until they pass Grade 8.
Hopefully, a brighter future is at hand.

You say "The land where the rich becomes richer, and the poor suffers for life... The government, politicians, law enforcers, justice...they're not in control. MONEY controls them!" - that sounds like America today, so it's probably not a good idea to get the current American regime to take over the Phillippines. You might do better with copying a country like Sweden if you want to reign in the rich and help out the poor.

There are a few things you need if you want real government by the people in your country. First is democratic control of the media - the lines of communication among the people need to be free from control by a small group of people. Second, a little more controversially, everyone should have access to weapons so they can defend themselves from a corrupt government. Third, even more controversially, people should assume democratic control over the means of production, so that those doing the work will get the fruits of their labor - not big shareholders, CEOs, or government officials.

It all depends how far you want to go, but if you want to get anywhere, you have to start with step 1 - you can't change the government without changing the lines of communication within your country.

Was it just a coincidence that all the country that the Spaniard conquered are corrupt? Unfortunately, I don't think there's a chance for the Philippines to rebuild itself because corruption in the goverment will always be there. I'm one of the millions and millions who left the country because there's no future there. America is still the land of opportunity. Here, you will be rewarded if you work hard. There, you will not go anywhere. I hope and pray that someday it will change but the chance is only very very slim to none. I strongly believe that America can fix it if they take over but the reality is filipino politician won't let it happen because there's nothing for them to gain.

There is ALWAYS hope -- especially in a land where the people are grounded in faith, hospitality and kindness.

As someone wrote, the problem is with the government. Before Marcos, the Philippines was the strongest Asian economic power, second ONLY to Japan. That was all messed up in less than 20 years by a greedy, corrupt regime.

Things improved under Cory and President Ramos, and a lot of it, especially with Ramos, was the spiritual dimension which influenced the decisions of the leaders.

The other challenges facing your nation is the dumb tribalism -- Filipinos, despite their warmth and friendliness, can get bogged down in factions and petty tribal prejudices. Add to that the low self esteem (or lack of national pride), mixed in with the crummy economy, and you're right -- it's hard to remain motivated.

In the mid Eighties, there was a lot of prayer and fasting, with eyes on the Biblical verse: II Chronicles 7:14 (which appears below). It began by Christians praying for revival, and it began when Marcos was in power.

I don't know what you think of prayer. It's not that "religious" stuff you do. Or forced to do. It's us on our knees, looking to the Creator with a quiet, yet expectant trust, in a Creator who is able to do what He has promised to do.

It took years, but slowly, change took place. There is still hope.

i imagine those are issues, even with the undeniable fact that it would not advise the rustic is "falling aside". there is not any time in the rustic at the same time as there have been not severe issues and we are nevertheless round. First, unemployment. Unemployment isn't that undesirable compared to many international locations in the international. And it is also cyclical, in accordance with organic on your price range cycles. there is going to be situations the position the business equipment helps a low or more desirable unemployment cost. basically because there are wealthy would not advise it really is undesirable. which skill there are opportunities to make an excellent quantity of money for some human beings. Admittedly, the conflict on Terror is really stupid and un-winnable, clone of the conflict on drugs and Poverty. it truly is what occurs once you've a moron in fee for 8 yrs Employers by no skill cared about their workers, previous their use as an worker. it really is capitalism and it really is been shown to be far more desirable helpful to different crappy sorts of society in words of economic ability. it sort of feels honestly you want a more desirable socialist authorities, in the time period that you want the authorities to do more desirable for persons.I do exactly not imagine an same. There are issues the authorities does semi-properly like roads, emergency facilities, courtroom equipment. yet such issues as social courses are extraordinarily inefficient. Medicare and social protection already take a serious bite of our GDP. i'm honestly paying something like 20-25% of my taxes to facilities that do not help me in any way. i think in own duty. a tremendous number of well being circumstances might want to be alleviated if human beings end being lazy and stay a healthful existence-style. it really is no longer fairly my fault in the journey that they don't devour precise and do not workout for 30 years. such issues as coronary heart ailment, diabetes, strokes are most of the biggest killers, and could be stopped if human beings stopped being pigs. i'm now to not blame for his or her existence-style and that i think little felony responsibility to pay for it.
