Me and my boyfriend have been together almost 3 years. We had some problems and he would break up with me a lot like every other month or so. But he stopped, one of the last time he did that I made the mistake of sleeping with someone else. I was texting this guy just because I felt like I needed someone to listen to me. My boyfriend wasnt the best at that. I took advantage of the other guy cuz he really likes me he told me he loved me and I said it back. I didnt mean anything I ever said to him. I just felt so angry that my boyfriend would keep leaving. My boyfriend found out about the text so I went ahead and told him about what happened the last time we broke up. Weve always talked about getting married and spending the rest of our lives together. Now thats kind of shot. I understand that I made a mistake and the stupid thing is I dont care at all about the other guy. And my bf even admitted there were some mistakes he made.

This was Wed. And he even changed his mind and decided to work things out Sat night. We spent the night together ( no sex or anything) and in the morning he changed his mind. So he says he needs time however last night he called, and he still acts like he cares. He says we wants to but hes not sure. Which I understand. Hes the man I want and Im pretty sure he feels the same way. It seems as if hes not as angry anymore. Can anyone relate? What would you do if you were him? If you were me? Thats something Ive never done and I never want to do again. I dont know how to reassure him. He wont even come in my house anymore. Even though nothing happened here...Im just confused. I love him so much I want to work things out. He says his heart is telling him to be with me but his mind is doubtful. I need help....

So, everytime something doesnt suit him, he leaves you. You slept with someone else and you are the worst one in the world. This guy sounds like he has a real problem....He is pulling the strings....he is telling you when it is on and off again...You dont seem to have any say in anything. Love is about respect...this man doesnt respect you...he is manipulating you. You have certain rights....he obviously is not meeting your needs, and I would be as angry as hell, if a guy treated me the way this guy treats you. He called it off, therefore you were free to do whatever you wanted to do....He cannot hold you to ransom because he left you. He called it off, so you had every right to go with another guy. I think he is a power freak...he needs to hold the reigns and he needs to make you feel bad so he can feel good. I think hes a jerk, and you could do a lot better and find a man who trully loves you and who does not want to control you.

So you were using the other guy because he was giving you the attention you needed from your b.f. for your own good and the other guy's.. its best that you dont speak to him any more or maybe not so definite. okay,try not to have long conversations with the guy, that will only allow him to get to know who you are and that will feed his hopes with you. I have done almost the same thing you did except i only made out with the guy. i think its just lack of having a good listener at your side. when men are unsure.. they tend to give up on the relationship. no ones an expert here but one things for sure.. you're not alone honey. im into the whole mess too!
