Why is it, or is it normal that after being married for almost half a year, that I dont get excited as much about sex than I use to or I think about someone else sometimes?

It happens. That's when couples tend to get pets or think about having kids. The important thing is to keep the flame alive, and build love around other things.

Maybe you are bored. The thrill of the chase is gone for you. Pity really. 6 months isn't very long to be married and feel like this. I have been married 10 years and my husband still excites me!

Don't blame it on being married, blame it on monotony.
You just need to spice up your love life a bit. That's one great thing about being married being able to share your desires with your spouse. Live out some of your fantasy's together, after all you have a lifetime to share together, why not make it interesting!

gee, it goes that way with everbody? I think you just get used to eachother. There isn't alot left to explore, you know there size, the way they move, everything. Trust me sometimes the only way to get through sex, is to plan your day when your doing it, or think about someone else. how f**ked up huh? but it true. and all of us hate it. it's not women it's all married or long term relationship people.

It happens... try some other ideas for positions, go to your local sex store and see if you cant spice it up. I have been with mine for over 4 years and still love the sex.
