The fastest growing religion at the moment is Islam. However, the converts will likely fall away.
People may dabble in a religion such as Islam, or even Wicca but eventually they learn that it does not offer them what they were seeking. For centuries Catholics relied on ritual to give them that comfort. With a higher level of spiritual awareness in this decade people will be exploring all sorts of religions.
This is a poem by Robbie Burns. It was written to protest the behavior of Christians but it can be applied to todays terrorists:
On Thanksgiving For A National Victory"

to murder men and give God thanks?

God does ne want your thanks for murder.
A person needs to feel the love, joy, peace, patience, goodness, gentleness, meekness, temperance and faith of the holy spirit in order to be fulfilled. This will come from a direct relationship of worshiping God in a personal way. It does not come from ritual or memorized prayers and obeissance.

The fastest growing religion in the world is Islam ..i have done a research on this matter...and has also done a presentation at an American University...it is really Islam...for it is the only religion that has been preserved and unchanged since the time it came to this world (1400 yrs ago)..it is also because no one has proved Quran wrong...and for ur information many scientists in the world are doing their research based on Quranic information...For instance..it has been said in Quran (by Allah) that "iam nearer to you than your jugular vein" ..A german scientists in 1990's was doing x-ray of a human throat when he found out that inside every human being's throat the Arabic verse is written..translated in english, it goes like this, "there is no God but Allah and Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) is the messenger of Allah)...he (german)was surprised and later on he turned towards Islam....there are numerous such things which prove that Islam is THE right religion...Check out this site (below) and find out urself about the illusioins of this world and how Islam gives all the answers to the questions that were unanswerable....

I am pretty sure it is Islam. China and other parts of Asia are converting over from Buddhism.
However, the fastest going Christ centered religion is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints known more commonly as (Mormons). They have a huge missionary force as well as they have lots of babies "LOL". I did a paper on this subject in school about a year and a half ago.

Everyone of the answers is incorrect, the fastest growing religion in the world today is Muslim/Islam. The so called religion of Peace is growing exponentially even though they kill so many of their own believers daily.

That question does not matter! What does, is what the TRUE religion is... Take instruction from the Holy Bible.
Ask Jesus to come into your heart and accept him as the Savior and risen Lord. Have a direct relationship with your Holy Creator in prayer in Jesus Christ's name.
Live your life according to the word and it's all good.

The Holy Bible is God's Holy Word! You can say the name of God and worship him properly or improperly. THE PROPER WAY IS THROUGH JESUS CHRIST! They found scrolls several times that meet the words exactly verifying such data that the Bible is 100% accurate. God is ALL powerful and he can and did preserve his Holy word to his edification.When the Virgin Mary was greeted by the Angel Gabriel he said amoung many things- "you will be with child ... and he WILL be called the SON OF GOD!" I do fulfill that prophesy by calling Jesus Christ The Son of God since it is scriptual. YOU MUST KNOW that Jesus fulfilled EVERY prophesy from the Old Testament. Born of a Virgin, from the seed of David, to be King! and many more. He did it ALL. There was never another Prophet spoken of. The Parcelete in Acts is the Holy Spirit and came indeed in those mens lifetime. New Testament states not to accept another book. YOU KNOW, the devil took a little bit of truth and make a big lie to fool Adam&Eve, he is a tricker. Maybe You too he is trying to confuse.

I have found many fallicies in the muslim faith-"No alcohol" Jesus's first public miracle was turning water into wine at the wedding feast. Get the Truth. Who would not want you to believe in the Bible?-the devil. How many times does it say in the Bible to not accept false prophets?-Alot of times it says this! What other religions claim to have another prophet?-(think about it...it's not hard.)
Reread the first question in this paragraph and ask yourself, "Who's work are you doing?" The devils work? The devil is a great imitator and liar. He seeks to destroy. Episcopalian We don't have room to sit in the church. They just started a Saturday service. Why? Because you don't have to feel guilty about everything. It is also fair to women who do most of the work in the church anyway.
