i have a few red dots mainly on my chest. What are they and what can i do to get rid of em?

They are called Cherry angiomas and they are totally harmless.I believe that the only way of removing them is by laser surgery or freezing.

If you have the red spots that I have (also on my chest) you probably have ITP, which is idiopathic thrombocytapinia...which is just low platelets, so your blood doesn't clot so well. It's really a very manageable thing assuming your platelets aren't insanely low. My mom has a platelet count of 90 and she still gets on without a hitch. You should tell your doctor, get a blood test, and if they're too low, you'll probably have to go on Prednisone. I don't think you can get rid of the red spots though. ASSUMING YOU HAVE ITP.

dermatologists say its from the sun. But it could be a broken blood vessel. I think they're there for good.

I have them too! Really tiny ones, on my arms. Like little tiny red freckles. Don't know why.

i have them and my dermatologist said that they were harmless, and very much the same thing as a freckle, and to leave them alone.

i dont know my pal has some and i dont know if its normal i got them to they said it might be liver problems try some young stinging nettle study about it first later
