Spyware, viruses, etc

Never had problems with it. That said, the programs that you download might have problems. That is not any reflection on download.com (i love that site!). So, if you download limewire from download.com, yes you will get spyware bundled into it. But download.com does try to limit the amount of crap bundled into programs. And if you read the reviews from others they will usually tell you if they had any problems with that particular program.

I've never had problems with it. They do have some software packages that have spyware/adware included. You have to be careful of what you install.

all the software i get from there is usually a trial. makes it pointless to get something from there
