there used to be roach(ok ok, ipis) traps here years ago but haven't seen one lately. but personally i prefer to use slippers(flip flops). more enviromentally friendly than inorganic chemicals(synthetic pyrethroids) found in BAYER products.

Sorry, but I haven't heard of the Roach Motel brand yet in the Philippines. I'd like to suggest Baygon. Or try contacting Mapecon http://www.mapecon.com , a pest control company in the Philippines that uses natural, organic and environmentally safe products.

You can still try to contact http://www.blackflag.com/ , the maker of Roach Motel to see if they have products in the Philippines.

Good luck on your pest problem. I don't like roaches either!

We used to have those at our house but they weren't effective either. What I have been using lately is a product called Top Cop. It's quite effective for us, and very safe since it is water-based. In fact when it was demonstrated to us they even drank a little bit of it to show how safe it was. The effects last for about 2 weeks.

During rainy weather when there's no dry ground for them, even with clean interiors, they crawl through the plumbing lines, drainage or rain spouts. Crush the eggs, black cocoons with a broom. they fly about during mating season. I scream while I hit it with a slipper. I'm scared the injured escapee will hide behind closets, do roach morse code & call for back-up, snuggle inside a shoe or bristle its legs with the toothbrush.

For years I've used water-based insecticide, chalk (for red army ant trail, even an electronic sonar device with low decibel signals. Need LifeStyle tv show feature on pest control, including stray rats & cats. Since we're a tropical country TERMITES are worst, hidden menace, with books & wooden furniture, awful sneaky. Lizards, I respect these gentle lofty creatures, help get rid of mosquitoes, exept when they leave their freaky dismembered tail behind. Lately, SLUGS, appear from nowhere, flat crawlers to plump lips. In the suburbs, hatched spider siblings crawled about, (snakes, too), I just pray that God lets His lowly creatures spare me the stress, allow us each private space & borders. I learned to live with their presence amicably, their territory first anyway. once as a kid, I woke up with a roach bite in my lip bec I slept with my milk bottle. Since then, I don't mind them if they don't mind me. BTW, try ACE hardware, Tru Value in Rustan's or Shangrila, too, & other organic concoctions. make sure your cupboard is dry & the condiments wth covered lids. If you feel harassed by roaches (these insect survived prehistoric age) enjoy the sunset! Stay cool!
