Drink a lot of water, cut down on sugar and fats - I find if I cut out sugar my skin clears up really well. Drinking water improves the colour and tone. For existing spots, ask your chemist for a tube of 2.5% benzoyl paraben or else use tea tree oil from The Body Shop. Alternatively other places like Superdrug also sell tea tree oil. I did also once use some of my mum's lemon handwash on my face before going to bed and by morning there was a dramatic improvement. I was still ugly of course, but less spotty!

Best thing is to just wash your face a few times a day with plain old soap. Avoid oily lotions and avoid makeup for a while. Keep your hands away from you face, and keep your hair out of your face as well. If you can't get rid of the spots with just basic hygiene then seek advise from a doctor.

If the scars are indented or protrude, use a scar diminishing cream as directed (such as Maderma) and if they're dark, use a skin bleaching cream for the face (you can find both of these at most grocery / drug stores and some beauty supply stores).

I use this Neautrogena lil bottle type thing that's supposed to make them smaller in 48 hours. I like it and it clears my spots up pretty quick. Don't put oily products on your face and don't strip your face of moistrue either because then your skin will just make more oil to make up for it.

Sudocrem works a cope with - in basic terms plaster everywhere in the subject section previously you bypass to mattress - in any different case it would not look too ideal. i've got used it previously quite some cases and it somewhat works for me. Superdrug's very own variety of Tea Tree Oil products are additionally very good.

Toothpaste, directly on the spots will dry them up over nite. Put it on thick before you go to bed. Or Canastan Combi also works. I know its for thrush but it also works on spots. One word of advice though don't squeeze them makes them worse and more infected!! Hope this helps!

Firstly keeping your skin clean is essential, but use mild products gently but regularly. there are so many types of spots so get a proper diagnosis of what they are. Some need antibiotics. You will treat them more efficiently if you know exactly what you're dealing with.

If u tend to eat loads of junk food, fizzy drinks and u add loads of sugar to stuff u eat, then S T O P !! This is what causes it!
Try and cut out the junk food, and just treat urself once a week, save it as a treat. And don't forget to cleanse ur face 1-2 times a week:
*Cleanse ur face
*Tone ur face
*Add a little moisturiser (one that suits ur skin.)
