I am 20 and I am going on 19 weeks. I had the same ordeal in April. I am usually a heavy bleeder and start on the same date. Well I went pee and seen brown blood like at the end of a period. only time I saw blood was after wiping. I took 4 at home tests and 2 at planned parenthood. The whole month in April the test showed up negitive. So I said forget it and took my last test the night before I was supposed to start my period. It ended up being positive. I had the following symptoms; Extremely tired, kinda moody, could cry for no reason, breast were sore, felt like throwing up but couldnt, I wanted to eat sweet stuff, didnt want to be touched. So you might have the same thing I couldve had not enough hcg to show up on the pee stick tests. Hope this was to some help for you. You can email me if you have any questions.

I did almost the same thing, I kept waiting for my period to start like normal but all it did was spot enough to get a false hope and go away, I took 4 tests in that month, 3 out of 4 were negative but by the end of the month the doctor said "16 weeks pregnant". Try a few home tests and make a doctor appointment if any come back positive.

could be a few different reasons sometimes your period can do that (just spot and then either skip the next month or come in a few days) but if you still don't have your period in a couple of days the doctor has a blood test that is more accurate and shows if you're pregnant sooner then those that you can buy at the store.

you might be pregnant but the pregnancy test might be showing your not because the hormone which is present when your pregnant isn't strong enough yet so the pregnancy test still shows your not pregnant.
take a test every few days until u either get a period or it shows you are pregnant if your still worried then go to your doctors.
good luck and if you are pregnant the congrats and i hope things go well for you

You are probably just having an abnormal period. Sometimes you can spot before you start your period. If still no period ina few days, you should test again, but don't stress too much. Women's bodies to whacky things sometimes. I was "sure" I was pregnant two months in a row only to not be pregnant. Then last month I had NO symtoms and now am pregnant. Crazy.

The blood could be implantation bleeding. A urine test wouldn't register a positive right away.
Wait a week and test again. If you still haven't gotten your period and you are still getting a negative, then schedule an appointment with your doctor.

You would be surprised how accurate those things are, no matter which brand you choose they are all 99.9% accurate. Even the off brands, just cheaper.
So to answer question, nope probably not, can have a cycle while prego but the test would of read positive. And if ya waited at least 1-2 days past your missed period day then the result is correct.

I'd wait a few days and then take another pregnancy test. We are actually in the same boat. I'm also 21 and fear I may be pregnant.

If you had unprotected sex around the time you were suppose to ovulate then yes you can be. BUT I would wait at least a week to see if your period starts and if it doesn't then test again. If it comes back negative and your period still hasn't started then consult a doctor...Good Luck
