Now Now...Buffon was just celebrating that Trezeguet missed the penalty. Doesn't matter who saved it, him or the Crossbar. And Now please don't put down the keeper as saying he is a joke. Because he is not. If you have a video of the Final match available to you, then please make a note that the last few minutes of Zidane's priceless career: "Sagnol (French right-MD) takes the ball up the feild, and crosses it into the box to Zidane who makes a beautiful header, 15-20 feet from the goal. But Buffons jumps/dives over like a rabbit and SAVES IT". In my eyes, that was France last viable chance to break the Tie and end the match right there. And please watch that execellent save again and again, so you will realize that Buffon deserves every right to cheer for his team. And lets not forget, he has been an excellent keeper throughout the Tournament. CLEAN SHEET, except for that one own-goal by Zicardo. So please lets lay this to rest and move onto the future events, like the EURO Qualification and the Italian soccer season of Serie A & B.

Perhaps he thinks that he is a great GK..but the truth is he is not even close to Barthez..at least Barthez went to the right way for all the penalties..but Buffon?? he went all to the wrong way!! What's wrong with him?? He is the 'best' GK and he can't even guess where the ball is going?? He is tall,which is a bonus for GK,but he can't use that 'bonus' at all as he can't even guess where the ball is heading to!! Because he is an idiot and he thinks he's great, when he is only mediocre.He came nowhere near to catching it, it was funny how he fell the wrong way on all of them, making no real attempt, seriously, never bet your life on Buffon in a penalty shootout, because he sucks! And he is so arrogant that in an interview after the match, he said "I would have caught the fifth penalty." Yeah, right, Buffon, in your dreams. I hated to see him celebrating like he was some sort of hero after Trezeguet missed, it was ridiculous and very bastardly of him. Buffon just got extremely lucky that poor Trezeguet missed, because I have watched that video over, and the ball was only centimeters away from crossing the line. It was just awful bad luck, but Buffon is such a buffoon that he actually thought he was superman or something for "saving" it, it's really stupid. Anyway, Trezeguet is still a hero, he and the rest of the French team are the true champions.

Yeh.I saw that.That was disgusting.He couldnt even save a penalty and he was acting as though he saved all of them.He was so dumb.He thinks too much of himself.I think Ricardo pf Portugal deserved the best goolkeeper award rather than that Bufoon coz he saved three penalties of England.
Trezeguet's penalty was a play of luck.So its not a big deal.Any way he and the french team hav caught an eternal place in our hearts.
