absolutely not. You should set up an appointment as soon as you suspect your pregnant. Or as soon as you've taken a home test and it came back positive.

Congratulations! No, the earlier the better. The doctor will take your medical history to see if you could have any potential problems or require any additional prenatal tests. They will draw blood for a standard prenatal screening and give you pre-natal vitamins and information about all the upcoming changes to your body.

As soon as I found out I was pregnant I made an appointment. I was 4 weeks. They want to do their own tests and make sure that you have a smooth and successful pregnancy. I would call and make an appt.

No, it's never to early. Your doctor needs to go over a few things with you, and to make sure that you are doing alright.

Nope, now is the time for your first visit. It will be brief...just to confirm your pregnancy and go over do's and dont's. You should go to establish a relationship with a doctor and your first big visit and ultra sound will be at 8 weeks.

you need to call the doctor if you had a + home test to have the pregnancy confirmed. HOWEVER many doctor don't schedule the 1st appointment till 8 weeks some will see you sooner. You need to call and ask them what to do.

No--you should be setting up an appointment now to start all the prenatal stuff. Definately start the prenatal vitamins and the usual, no drinking, smoking, etc.
