Support her. This is her decision, and you should be proud of her for taking this route and not the cowards route by having an abortion. She loves her child enough to know that she can't give the child the life she feels it deserves, and is giving the child and it's adoptive family the gift of a lifetime.

I've been there. Its hard to step aside and let your friends make what you feel might be the biggest mistake of their lives. It's important however to recognize that things do truly happen for a reason, and this choice will come full circle some day in a situation where she is going to need to use this experience.
There is also the obvious: a child should not be brought up in a home where it's primary care giver is not willing/prepared to provide everything it needs emotionally and physically.
Be there for her if you can, but if you really can't then let her go, because the last thing she needs is a friend acting as an authority figure.

If it is truly something she has thought about and considered all of the options and adoption is what she feels is the right choice, then it is. It can seem sad to friends and on lookers when someone is unable to keep their baby but to the person in that position who knows they arent ready then it is something that needs to be done in order to give a better future to the baby and the unprepared mother. This is why protection is neccessary: To avoid unwanted pregnancies. Abstinence is the safest choice though. Definetly support your friend, She is going to go through a lot after she has the baby but no baby in the crib: if she wanted it or not.

let her. if she feels this way she probably has good reasons. Im sure the decision was a tough one to make so dont make it harder by putting doubt into her mind and heart. there are lots of families anxiously waiting for a baby and shes probably making them very happy. not to mention giving her baby what she feels is a better life. be supportive. Im sure she could really use a good friend right now!

The decision is hers to make actually. I am not sure if you mean a friend as another girl or maybe you are a guy that doens't want his g/f to give it up. The only thing that you can do is be supportive and spend time with her.

Talk to her and tell her that maybe yo can take the baby and raise him or her until she is ready so that she can still be around the baby and won't miss out on their life and that way she knows that if she decides to keep the baby, you will always be there for her. Good luck, ok, bye.

Adoption is one of the single most greatest thing a person can do! The lack of selfishness, and the fact that she loves the baby enough to give it to a family that can emotionally, financially afford it my hats off to her! She will need you as her friend to stand by her decision.

be supportive. It's not your baby. Just be there for her, when she cries about what she has done. But if she doesn't want the child. Then it's better to let it go to a good home. Just give her a shoulder.

If I had a friend that wanted to do that, I'd disown her. She should've thought about the consequences of giving birth before she got her freak on. She should keep HER child because afterall, she wanted to hop on the good foot and do the bad thing, so obviously she knew she could get pregnant. She'd ruin her child's life - He or she would want to know WHY their mother didn't want them.

The best thing you can do is support her. True your not the one but you can be her support. Make sure that she does not do anything harmful to the baby after she has the child. Pray for her.
