Well first, we have to define a geek. A geek, to me, is someone who seems to be knowledgeable about EVERYTHING. Someone who is more interested with books and gadgets than people. With that definition, initially I believe they would be in complete shock but eventually, they would be able to teach their child so much and about a plethora of different things, that yes.. definitely would be a good father. Plus, their social life is non existent to start with so no babysitters! More quality time.

Of course, that is only my definition of a geek. And, I do try to be as geeky as possible. I just fail with the EVERYTHING part. lol

Ah come on! No offence or anything, but that's a TERRIBLE stereotype..... How can you possibly tell whether someone will be a good father or not by one word, geek? Some geeks are good dad's, some aren't. There's your 100% true, honest answer.

I know this guy who is the ultimate geek and he is a GREAT father. He plays videos with his kids, teaches them cool things, reads to them, tucks them into bed, etc. He's a wonderful dad any child would want as a father.

I believe so, if anyone will care to marry them in the first place. They are often very intelligent, and can therefore get a good job and make enough money to support children well.

Can't see any reason why not. Then again, I don't think "macho men", "accountants", "shy guys" or "comedians" etc make good fathers just coz they are macho etc. Guess there are excellent, lousy and good-enough dads that are geeky, too.

Yes, at least you know that he'll know what to do when his baby needs his diaper changed. Besides that, you would know ahead of time that you will have a smart kid who will be successful.
