Don't you have some friends from middle school that will be going to the same high school. Hang around them as a security blanket for the first few days. I always suggest to try out for a sport. You'll meet other 9th graders in JV and if the varsity squad will get to know you. Being down with the seniors when you're a freshman gave uber street cred back in the day.

It will only be scary for about the first period of the first day of school. After that, the worst will be over and you'll be able to relax. Once you get through that first day, you'll start seeing old friends and find where your classes are and everything will be fine! Just be friendly and nice and don't worry--you'll find where you need to go, someone to talk to, etc. Freshman year is a really fun year once you get through that first day.

9th grade, thats high school. Its normal to be nerves ( I wouldnt call it scared). I think u need to talk w/your family about your feelings. U can join a club at your high school, like: swimming, a painting-art club, book club, or class office club. U r old enough to get a job or a volunteer job. 2 keep yourself busy. Thats what I did when I when to high school.

Going to high school could be scary and exciting, but it's really not a big deal. Remember going from elementary school to middle school? Well, it's exactly the same.

Dude tha way i did it when i was steppin in to high skoo was te tienes que calmar, respirar, y nomas acceptar que va pasar. Tu no puedes adivinar que puede pasar pedo puedes avictar que puede pasar.In other words just find the cool crowd, and hang with them

dont worry i was a freshman last year and the other kids did not do anything. just relax and get to know the other students and make friends

hi i am also going to 9th grade, but we all been through pre-school, middles school how worse can it be but just be your self and keep eyes open, because the is not safe anymore!!!u will do fine, i am sure!!!
