Hello, they normally can not write you a ticket for a traffic crime more than a year after you did the criminal driving event.

That is what statue of limitation is, the time from when the crime happened , to the time you were charged, since a traffic ticket is the charge,

A traffic ticket is written with a specific court date or one that will be re-set, there is no specific time they have to be heard, merely a speedy trial that the person charged with the ticket can request.

I will bet yes.

But if you have a ticket and haven't paid it yet and are wondering if you wait long enough it will go away, the answer is no. There is no limit on you paying, just you getting the ticket.
