My boyfriend's birthday is coming up and I have no clue what to get him. He loves puzzles and that type of thing but he has already solved the 5 square across rubiks. Does anyone out there know of anything would be challenging and fun for him?

Hey, thanks for all the answers!
I think I am going to get him a megaminx. I found it on wikipedia. Looks pretty hard, eh?
Maybe I will throw in a pair of handcuffs too...just kidding.

noway 52% of people never complete um,when they buy one. theres no ahrder puzzle than a rubriks clue unless you try and get him a 2000 piece jigsaw puzzle
a great puzzle is putting handcuffs on him the ones the cops use. and tightening them and ou keeping the key. you can watch him trying to break um off that would be pretty funny and hard

Give him a sweet & funny card (try more funny than sweet...it's a guy thing), and maybe a fun 3-D puzzle (or 1000 peice puzzle) that has a special meaning to the both of you. For instance, if you met at a coffee shop, get a 3-D coffee cup, or if you went on holidays to Ottawa, get him a puzzle of the Parliament buildings. This way he'll know you thought about it, and he will have a fun & memorable gift that will last.

Perhaps he'd like to play some new board games. Take him to a comic/specialty shop and offer to buy any game he chooses and play it with him (no matter how complicated). If he's into puzzles he's probably also into games and he'll love you for it. And maybe, juuuuuust maybe, you'll also get into it enough to make it happen more often.

Well if he likes puzzles maybe he likes riddles and the like also. Maybe you could get him a book of lateral thinking challanges.
If you can find the book "Classic Lateral Thinking Challanges", I bet he would like that. I found that book at a book store last year.
I hope this helps.

Try to figure out what the plot of The Phantom Menace is. I've seen it five times and I haven't got a friggin' clue what it's about.
