when i was little mum used to complain i smelt like a chemists cos of all the winter mixture, aniseed balls, clove balls, cough candy and the like i used to shove down my gullet. Lovely eh? lol!

Cough Candy! There's a great sweet shop in Whitstable - Kent called Sugarboys, you can get great sweets there, all the old favourites, I love shebert pips, Cola cubes, acid drops, aniseed balls.....!

cough candy i love. my daughter now 6 i introduced her to them 3wks ago. she only likes them and no other sweets now.
I hated clove balls, made me feel pukey. acid drops i liked and barley sugars too. if i had a winter mixture i would give all the clove ones to my sister who would spit them out too. hahaha
