People who talk during movies are usually those who weren't born with the "polite" gene in their DNA. Since they are so inflicted asking them to be quiet would be a waste of time. So the real question becomes, "How do you shut the person up without missing any of the film you were trying to watch in the first place?"

The best answer would be to always keep several Minjas in your pocket. These are Ninja Midgets, but they prefer the title "Minja". Usually they are used for killing eighth graders, but can also be deployed in a movie theater setting.

Locate the obnoxious talker and point them out to the Minja. Before letting them go to do their job, give them several hearty gulps of whatever sugar-enhanced soda you are currently drinking and then shake them well. This will rile them up into a killing rage. Point them in the right direction and let them go.

Sit back and enjoy the show. The Minjas will take the person out quickly and quietly, without disturbing anyone else in the theater. They will return to you when they are done and only ask for a few Junior Mints as payment.

Make sure you pay them, or they will turn on you.

Good luck!

They should have some one patrol the aisle's , and then blind them with a flashlight, but then again that is just as distracting. Just throw popcorn at them, or kick their seat. I think another issue at movie theatres, are people that show up to get their seats just fter the lights go down. I think what Alfred Hitchcock Did for the release of Psyco, and not let anyone in after the lights go down. Nothing more annoying then trying to watch and see heads bobin in front of the screen, or some ask you if those seats next to you are taken.

You could politely ask them to be quiet but that seldom does any good. Ask the theater management to either quiet them down or remove them. If the management is unable/unwilling to do so, demand your money back and leave the theater. They are in the business of making money like everyone else and maybe they will get the idea if enough people do likewise.

Have an extra stash of m&m's when this happens ~ pelt the offender(s) with them. You can throw a handful or one at a time,

For extra fun use gummy worms or Dots .

I've found that doing this make me feel better, even if it doesn't get the other person to stop :)

hmmm its up to your ammunition

if you have popcorn then you can stuff em up their ears and nose which will cause em to worry rather then talk!

if you have a can of coke you can do the same process but from a different angle! Which will get them a lil uncomfy but will deff stop the talkin!!

if you have some sorta gun or a knife !! WTH! you shouldn't be having them with you!!

if you have nothing but bare hands then lol you know how to use them ....

I would go to them and ask them to be quieter, in a nice way, but without sounding embarassed or apologetic about it. A lot of other people will be grateful to you. Staring rarely works. If they don't co-operate, go to the theater manager. It does ruin your movie watching, but that's what it requires.

If you are eating a box of ju ju beads or Dots (found in most movie theaters.) then pop 'em in your mouth till they get sticky-like and throw them in the offenders hair. lol Putting them in your mouth first is key as this aids in the sticking. Also...look up a product called 'liquid as*' on the net...haha it will be a real stinker.

I know what you mean. You just have to tell them to be quite with respect and if they don't listen or start looking for trouble with you just act fearless and warn them again and if they still won't listen tell somebody that works there to ascord them out or just beat the crap out of them and teach them a lesson!! -Pitufo-

M&M's to the face or back of the head, depending on where you are in respect to them. Works wonders in getting your point across, but it helps to be a big enough guy that they know better than to confront you about it. heh
