Is height really important in relationships?

Hello I'm about 5'4 and I'm 18 years old. I see that girls like taller guys more. Even the short girls that I like (5'2 or 3) prefer taller guys. I'm like WTF! It's not my fault that I'm short, you know. I also see that guys that have it all (in my view) are the ones who are irresponsible and unfaithful, and I'm totally opposite to that. IDK what do you guys think?

Everyone is different.
Most men like big boobs. It doesn't mean that every girl who has small boobs will not find someone. Many men like small boobs. Sorry I will stop talking about boobs.
The point is that it seems to you as though the tall guys have everything but it really isn't like that. They have the same doubts and fears as you, but about other things. Most of the "jocks" will end up in meanial jobs after you leave school/college, where as you will flourish because you are more level headed and work harder to get the things that you think the other guys have.
Trust me if you keep working hard at school and life, it will change you in the long run and your future will be far roiser than theirs.

The best advice I can offer really is wait until you are older and everyone a bit more mature. You will have your pick I'm sure.

I'm married to a man who is the same height that I am (Both of us are about 5'6") and is the nicest guy on the planet. Give the women around you a few years to grow up and realize that there is more to life than a boyfriend who is a bad boy and is physically perfect.

Also if you're only 18 you might have a few more years of growing in you - a lot of guys don't totally stop growing until they are 21 or so.

Most girls like to date to taller guy because when you stand next to each other, it looks right. I am not sure the exact average height for male is, but I think it's around 5'8 or 5'6. If you think about it, if the gal you like is 5'2" or 5'3", then, she will be taller than you if she wears 3" high heel. It is a little bit odd but if she can accept, then, there is no problem. You just need to find a gal who appreciate your inside, your personality, not your height. Just think about Tom Cruise, he is not tall as well. But guess what, his wife or gf are sure taller than him and they are beautiful. If you got the look, you have no problem.

It doesn't matter to me.You're all the same height when your horizontal, if ya know what I mean.But I honestly think it has more to do with a guy's insecurity over his height that most women gravitate to taller guys.And with the fondness allot of women have for wearing high heels (myself included), it also upsets the traditional dynamic most women grow up with, that the man should be taller than the woman.It really has to do with how secure a person is in themselves, which,sad to say, you won't find allot of in young adulthood.

When you get older and are surrounded by more MATURE women who care about YOU and not how tall you are, you'll find someone who doens't care about height.

The bonus for me in high school, while all the tall girls where shunning the shorter guys - and I didn't mind if they were shorter than me... I dated some really fab guys that the other girls missed out on!

You have to find the girls who are grown up enough to know that it's the person on the inside that counts.

I heard one shorter guy say he looks to see what type of shoes the woman wears. If she prefer high heels then he know height is important to her and she probably wouldn't go for him. But if she like flats or low heels, then he felt safer approaching her, since height wasn't so much an issue, even if she was taller than him.

that's an odd point. the most wonderful man i know isn't the height i had always imagined the man of my dreams would be. he's a hell of a lot shorter than i thought. but, as long as he's the same height as me when i am in my heels, it's okay.

but yes, given that fact, he's has treated me a hell of a lot better than most of the taller guys i have dated. if they get any better as they get shorter, i'd be asking for way too much.

think of it this way, any woman that will not even consider you as a person to love, isn't worth your time. and you deserve better. there is someone out there.

well you know that you can get taller.

if you do the right aerobic exercise you can stretch your ribs and you can get a maximum of 5 inches taller.

that is why swimmers and basket ball players and volley ball players are so tall.

u ever notice how thin their thorso is. cause it is stretched to the fullest. and is easier to get a six pack

Cause i am the shortest guy in all my friends cause we are all swimmers.

But luckily i ent so short, maybe it comes with genes. i'm 6 foot\

most of my friends are like 6' 3' and 6' 5'

its okay if your . short and yes most girls want taller guys, but it doesnt really matter if your tall or short( to me) cuase your stil the same person an all. just try to find a girl that doesnt care about hieght difference
