Yes! When it is done intentionally it is funny but when it is so obvious that a person can't spell it is just sad.

When I was 14 I wrote "You're-a-peein'" instead of "European" about 30 times in a five-page essay for history class.
My college girlfriends and I thought spelling dumb without the b was especially hilarious.
Pretty normal stuff for smart chicks, I'd say.

yeah, words like stoopid always look better misspelled. And I sometimes deliberately mispronounce words, too, like sest la vye (c'est la vie) and horsdoovers (can't spell that one the right way!)

Our band leader used to make us put "Saturday NITE" on our flyers and posters. He insisted on it, but he never did say why!
