He's already signed an agreement to give all proceeds to charity. Signed on 1/18/2001, just before being sworn in. See source.

Isn't it obvious that there is some serious corruption going on here? When Cheney was CEO of Halliburton, the company was losing $500,000,000 per year for the previous 3 years before Cheney became VP. Within 2 years (because of no-bid contracts), Halliburton was making a $1 billion profit per year, and has made more every year since then. Meanwhile, Cheney, to this day, receives payments from Halliburton each year, and will receive a $20 million dollar bonus when he leaves the White House.

Republicans...do you really support this kind of activity? Do you think this is the kind of thing that our government should be doing with your tax dollars? Do you really think that corruption of this magnitude should be encouraged and supported?

By the way...Halliburton has done no work either in Iraq, or the areas effected by Hurricane Katrina. They take a large chunk of the money for themselves, then sub-contract the work to one of their subsidiaries (Kellogg, Brown, and Root), who also takes a large chunk and sub-contracts the work to yet another company, usually a foreign one (not from the country being repaired or from the US) to do the actual work, generally paying the workers a sub-standard wage. If this wasn't corruption at work, there would have been bids, and Halliburton and it's subsidiaries wouldn't be paid huge amounts of money to do absolutely nothing!

PS...that charity agreement does not say anything about giving all stocks in Halliburton that the Cheneys own to charity...it simply says that any stocks given by the Cheneys to the charity agreement will remain in control of the Cheneys, but all proceeds will go to the charities listed.

Halliburton have been given billions of unique government settlement to "rebuild" Iraq and this pushed the fee of the inventory strategies sky severe would I supply you some thing to evaluate, on the subject of Haliburton? They have been/are the main important shape employer in u . s . a .. they have subsidiaries in each field, from sewage to electricity grids, roads, homes, water, you call it. No different employer is gigantic adequate to deal with an entire reconstruction of the infrastructure of a good sized city. those have been overlooked for some years. As for settlement words, that project could only be carried out on a value plus foundation. Who in hell could bid a Turnkey fee on underground initiatives and electric powered grids, and so on, without way of understanding the matters which could be encountered? it fairly is like redesigning an previous residing house, no longer understanding each and all of the blind unknowns. they heavily isn't bid as Turnkey, yet will incorporate a clause that extras will upload to the fee. once you advance up and particular very own a corporation, and understand greater approximately issues and not what liberals feed you, i'm particular you've gotten some expertise of the real international. i'm no longer related in any way with Haliburton, yet i think of i could have discovered some issues after 50 years in corporation. in line with probability no longer as much as you already know. there have been claims of "over runs" and /or "bill padding". I understand over runs, as defined with "fee plus", besides the shown fact which you do no longer. If any bill padding is actual, then i may be the 1st in line to sentence it. As for Katrina sufferers, i assume you do understand that some have been nonetheless housed in $500 in line with day lodges, this 3 hundred and sixty 5 days, 2009, could be. each and all of the 1000's of cellular properties, offered and paid for by ability of your tax money at the instant are being offered to Katrina sufferers for $a million.00. sure, that's ONE dollar. I stay on the Gulf Coast. I left an house broken by ability of IKE. Galveston will never look an identical, yet, I particular as hell have not considered lots help for 1000's of persons who lost each little thing. I only seen no longer posting this, yet, what the hell. somebody else would learn some thing despite in case you do no longer.

The trust set up to run his "estate" while he is in office. They all do this; even candidates do it while they are running. In order to avoid any real issues with stock holdings they put their assets in the hands of a manager and don't dictate anything during their tenure.

I realize this doesn't create the anomosity you and other left wing nut jobs were hoping for - but its the fact.
