No, it is to early. You need to wait at least 3 weeks after the day you would normally start your period. So wait until you are supposed to start your period and from that day, wait 3 weeks and then take a home pregnancy test. It takes a long time for it to show up on a test. If you want to take a blood test that is fine but first you have to wait until after you were suppose to start your period. In your question you said that it was only 10 days after you had intercourse. There is no way it would show up on a test that soon. You have to wait and see if you start your period.
I hope this has helped clear things up for you.

Wait a while. I did a urine test 1 week after my period was due. It was negative. Then I did another one 5 days later, it had the faintest positive line. So i went to the doctors wanting a blood test but I ended up doing another urine test and it was negative (this one was done at 3pm!). I did another test 4 days after that and it was as positive as they come! I'm now 7 weeks pregnant!
It took a while for my hCG levels to be readable. A blood test would be able to detect them now, but just wait a couple of weeks.
Good luck!

Not likely. Those tests are pretty accurate. But 10 days may not be enough time. Try again in another 5 to 10 days with a home test.

I had a positive at-home test. Doctor's urine test was negative; blood test was positive.

When I went to the Dr. to confirm pregnancy they used the urine test. I have never had a blood test.

first you should say whether you have missed your period, pregnancy tests will not show up before you are late, your body has to have time to start producing hcg which is what the test detects. if you are late already it is highly unlikely your pregnant if the test came up negative but i would retest in a week or so if your period has not arrived

The urine test are pretty accurate, so you probably will still get a negative.
