If it's an email address you can refrain from using it. After 90 days it will be automatically closed. If it's on Answers you can go to My account, then options, then delete your screen name and switch it if you'd like.

you may delete a profile call decrease than the main account. yet I dont have self assurance you may delete the main account. you're allowed 5 diverse profile names decrease than a million account. You goto my profiles in messanger and then edit the account. it is going to take you to a yahoo website and from there you're making a various call. you won't have the capacity to delete the main one yet you may substitute the fairly some different profiles.

normally you have to let yahoo delete it because they have made so many changes in their system and stuff you I guess you would probably have to email them. go to settings and see if you can do it from there if not then email yahoo and let them know that you just want to remove a name from you account. good luck

Just enter into the profiles it should let you eliminate it. Or just forget about it and it will go away in about 3-4 months.

From the primary account, go to the accounts section, and delete the account.
If it is the primary account, then you cannot delete it.
