It happened at school after class when no one was around not even the teacher. So, I'm offended when how some of you can ask that it never happened, for shame on you! The guy was ten times stronger and simply didn't understand the word " NO "! One thing is for sure I did not bring this on to myself!

I didnt read you last question, but I assume you got a lot of negative answers from people saying you brought it on yourself or who didnt believe you. Those people should be more than ashamed of themselves, they should be embarrassed at verbalising their ignorance. Its these kind of people who make it hard for victims to come forward and they need to get a little bit more educated before they open their big ignorant mouths. It makes me so angry that anyone could think a woman/man wants to be forced into anything. It takes away our basic rights of choice. Rape has long lasting effects on the victim, so these mindless idiots who gave you these negative answers, mustnt have a brain and maybe they just get their kicks from making fun of serious issues.

I think you are very brave to speak out about your rape. My only words to you is please get some counselling because unless you do, this horrible incident will have long lasting effects on you. It may not be evident now, but it will rear its ugly head when you least expect it. Has the rapist been caught? There are rape crisis centres everywhere....have you sought help from them? You need some profesional intervention and these people do this kind of thing every day, and if it goes to court you will have profesional support. The male who raped you needs to be stopped, but ultimately it is your choice what you want to do. That is why I suggest you go see a counsellor at a rape crisis centre because they will be able to advise you of your rights. I am from Australia, and maybe our laws are different, but I know with rape victims, the counsellor is more interested in the frame of mind of the victim and helping them come to terms with their rape than in seeking justice through the legal system. I know any counsellor will only have your best interests at heart, and you wont be forced to do anything you dont want to do. And if there are legal issues then you will be informed of them when you get this help....You need the help. You need the support. I wish you all the luck in the world because you are going to have some tough times ahead....but just from the small amount I have read I believe you have a lot of strength and determination.

You should call the police. This guy should spend some time locked up so he can be punished by having to think about what he has done. This rape will stay with you forever and probably have an effect on every single relationship you ever have. I know, I've been there. So this guy shouldn't be allowed to go on like nothing happend and he doesn't deserve a normal life. When I was raped I was 15 and no one believed me, even my best friends! So I know that its frustrating. The people who suggest it never happened just don't understand because they have not been there, It would be better to talk to someone in a organisation set up for rape victims instead. I'm glad that you say
'One thing is for sure I did not bring this on to myself!'
because that shows you are not blaming yourself, so your on the right tracks! : )

wow, I'm really sorry to hear that. I hope you did have him locked away for a long time,...maybe he will see what it is like to be raped!!! I hope i can clear the air a little for others by explaining my thoughts......I cant and wont try to speak for everyone, but i think i can speak for some with my explanation. You must understand that allot of the bad feedback that you received was probably because some ppl find it hard to believe that you could get on here and talk about such a disturbing crime with perfect strangers,..some ppl cant and wont talk about something like that with their own family's. Some probably thought that it was a prank simply because of your bravery and openness to discuss it with us. So, if it is true and you ever need a friend to talk to about your feelings, then I'm sure I'm not the only one here that would be willing to be that friend. I wish you all the best, keep your head up and take care.

I have a really hard time accepting that people could be as un-caring as they can be. I have been raped by 2 diff. ex-b/f's @ 18&22,I was molested by a staff member @ a crisis center @ 17,then attempted rape by one of the other residents after I turned in the employee and nothing was done to him. If I were you I would ignore the in-humane's of the world.Good Luck In the Future with this Issue,Get help...join a support group in needed.

I'm sorry you had to go through something like that. Forget what those other people say, you went through something horrific and they're certainly not helping it. Have you sought counselling to deal with the after effects of your experience? Its worth a try if its going to help you get past this rape and move on. By the way I hope you reported this guy and he's behind bars for life. Good luck with life.

Happened to a friend of mine in school too. Rape is rape. My friend tried to commit suicide after that. Best thing to do is never be alone with any guy. Boys are stronger than women. Did you go to the police. You should have. I hope you went to the emergency room too.

I am so sorry that you were raped at school by another student. I know a similar situation. A girl in my school got raped by a student who was much stronger, and it was in front of about 10 students, the teacher left the room for awhile and then it occurred. I was one of the witnesses who testified in court for her. I will tell you, this happened close to exam time. The girl never came back to school nor did she do her exams. She was threatened by many of the other girls in our school. Charge the *******!!!!!
