which satellite provider is better dish or direct tv?

looking to get rid of cable. and was not sure which one is better.

Depends on what you want in terms of features and shows. I have dish network(have for about 9 years) with the DVR for the last couple and I like it.

Go to each website and see which ones offer the channels you want for the best price.

The only true exclusive I know of is that DirectTV is the only one with the NFL Football package. Other than that eat has some differences in their packages as to what you get at each level of pricing and those channels get added to over time.

I choose Dish years ago for two reasons.

1. Best price at the time for what I wanted.
2. Best soccer channel coverage at the time.

i've had both and like dish better - esapecially because of the dvr they offer.
