My husband. He was always in trouble and in and out of jail, drugs and guns etc, had warrants out for him...he went to jail two years ago and got it all cleared up and his debts paid.
It is all because he met Jesus and he is so different now that people who use to know him would be shocked. Even the court could tell he was changed and he was treated well and got out in only 3 months. I am honored to be the wife of such a godly man as him. He is so good to me. And yes, he has a very good paying job as a contractor/carpenter.
Here is a poem he wrote when he first met Jesus:

Bonds
(This poem was written by my husband years ago, when he was in jail, when he first met Jesus)

Bonds

Blood stained, graffiti’d walls

Silent teardrops fall, as I walk these halls

Just another number with no name

Cuffed and shackled, led in chains

Filled with anger, hatred and disgrace

I told myself “Never again”

Yet here I am
They’ve got me now
No way out of this jam
Forever a felon, it’s all downhill from here
Probation, yeah right
Gotta do the time
Caught up in the system, probably for life
Or is that just what they want me to think?
‘Cause I’ve heard of others who were in chains
Who trusted in the One called the Ancient of Days
Innocent of any crime
Suffering for what they called the way, the truth, the life
Condemned to death
Yet with their last breath
Spoke of a life that no man can take
And freedom that no man can break
About a messiah who died so we might live
Who gave all he could possibly give
A God of new starts
If we humble our hearts
He will make the crooked ways straight
Even when you think its too late
With tender loving mercy, He forgives
The I Am of old, Emmanuel
Right now, right here
Faithful to lift every burden of care
Taking away every last ounce of fear
Walking always close to your side
Just lay it down, all your foolish pride
Why go through this life alone
Lord knows I’ve tried, and I almost died
And the life I almost took, the pain I almost caused
Unthinkable acts while I was lost
The grief I did cause, I am ashamed
Yet even then Christ was there
With His holy army of angels
Casting down the demons, raging inside and against me
And he held me, with love beyond compare
So that I might finally open my eyes and see
That in darkest hour, he’s a shining light
Our morning star, even at midnight
Saying “I know how you feel
I’ve been there I know
My love is for real, I won’t let you go
Come, and give Me all your pain
I’ll wash you clean with heavenly rain
So as my spirit was broken once and for all
He took my yoke at a token, as I heeded His call
And now they want to keep me down
But Jesus lifts me up
They try my spirit, but He fills my cup
Peace in my heart towards every man
Even as those against me take a stand
I just ask, Father, that they might come to know You
For they can lock up my body
But the key to my soul
Is in Your hands, who makes me whole
Forever leading me, guiding me by Your wondrous grace
One day soon I hope to see Your face
Now I wonder where would I be if no trials had come
If all those dreadful things I never had done
Would I have ever truly learned
Would my soul have been bought
I’d probably died and burned
If I’d never got caught
Swimming deep in sin
With no peace, only violence within
Unbroken, unwilling, unfit to becom
So I rejoice in this jail cell
Acquitted by God
As for me, I’ll not see hell
In the everlasting court, I walk a free man.

Yes, I have an old friend, that was caught up in drugs (and all that goes along with them) when he was in his late teens. He did several years in prison. He has totally changed. He went back to school, attends church, and now is one of the top contractors in this county. He also has gotten married, and has 2 of his own children, has adopted 2 more, and runs his own shelter for the homeless, giving out food, clothes, prayer, and information to help people in need. Sometimes I still can't believe how far he has come. People use to avoid him like the plague, and wouldn't have given him a pot of piss if he was on fire. People can change, if they want to. It is not an easy road, but the rewards are far greater.

definite. someone who became convicted for homicide as an adolescent. the man participated in all sorts of courses in detention center, finding out on up sensible skills, and became very sensible from the initiating. the man became released from detention center and fell in love, began going to varsity, and is even employed. once you seem at job applications, study the position it asks about your crime. It asks how earlier you've been CONVICTED - no longer once you've been released. some jobs do not even ask, and also you'll artwork off the books in case you'll discover the artwork. it really is more desirable helpful to attempt getting artwork on the books because your parole likely has a situation you ought to have an authentic job on record.
