Anyone have a job doing such duties? I'd like more information if you have. Eg, what were your other duties? Did you enjoy the job? Was it hard?

these are duties that fit for almost any "staff" job within the legal field. i did all of that when i was a legal receptionist, file clerk, records clerk and paralegal. now i work at a court reporting agency and although i do not initiate the original pleadings/discovery, i still have to print, collate and file (in house) them.

it really depends what position you are in... sometimes other clerical duties are expected: phones, mail, setting up appt./mediations, docketing, indexing, word processing, xeroxing, calendaring.... the list goes on.

it's not a hard job... as long as you pay attention from the beginning... it's more of a "detail-oriented" type job (learning the steps).

did i enjoy the job? well, it does have its ups and downs... being in the paralegal position was very demanding of my time. honestly, it's not my cup of tea, but it pays the bills. some people love it!
