I agree
Roadrunner or Verizon DSL
While both have problems, for $30 you get a lot more speed than dial up for $15 or $20

Dont know where you live! Dont know what your unhappy with! Why dont you describe the problems or reasons and maybe you might get some answers! Is it too slow? Dialup no matter WHO provides it is slow! When you call the garage to repair your car do you specify your problem? Why sure! And you pay these folks! You want answers, have the common sense and courtesy to provide us with the same info!

My mother had peoplepc and was totally not satisfied with it. It kept messing up her computer, and then even after she cancelled it they billed her the following month for it. She had to uninstall and reinstall it every time she wanted to get online. I've only tried Juno and Verizon DSL (what I have now). I never had any problems with Juno, just don't get their excellerator.. it's JUNK and not worth the extra $$. (I think a JUNO subscription runs about $4.95/month.) Good Luck!

I would recomend for you to upgrade to DSL In my opinion, its not much more expensive and only has a one time cost of a router. It also doesn't tie up your phone lines. however, If you still want Dial-up i would suggest AT&T Yahoo, which i had before i got DSL and it worked well.

Check with local ISPs rather than large national ones. I am in Chico, CA and use one out of Sacramento for less than $100 for the year.

I prefer Earthlink, Mainly because they have excellent customer service and their software doesn't use too many resources on your computer. You can pick up free Earthlink software at your local Office Depot or Best Buys store.

I would go with a high speed provider, if that won't work try DSL through AT&T if you can only use dialup, then Netzero or Netscape are good-for dialup.

PeoplePC is crap.
I don't have dial-up, but I have heard SBC is good:
