Hmm. Something that has interested me lately is why video and DVD stores have fewer and fewer Western movies. I could only find a handful at the Blockbuster near us. Maybe your son can investigate whether or not movie stores carry more historic movies in smaller towns versus larger towns and cities - and whether or not his peers know about historic dates and how often they watch movies with historic settings. I don't know if you want modern or historic subjects. Something that has been on TV more recently is how prisoners of war are treated - you can compare and contrast how soldiers lived during the Revolutionary War, the Civil War, World War I, etc. That would help set the stage for the rest of the year - to get an overview of what goes on in a lot of history. He could take the same soldier and show different uniforms, etc.

Can you put in a little more info?

If you could re-write the Constitution of the United States today, what would you retain, what would you eliminate, what would you change, and what would you add? And why?

If you want a better idea you'll need to give better project parameters.
