Dreaming of a lion shows you have many obstacles to overcome, and must resist the real force that is driving you to self destruction; if the lion overpowers you, you will lose, but, if win out over the lion you will be the victor. As the lion usually represents different aspects of our own inner nature either as we are, or as we think ourselves to be, then in this light the dream must be correlated by using as many of the symbols you see in your dream and carefully analyzing the different actions of each character.

Well, there are the "official" interpretations of the symbols in your dreams which are already well described in the previous answers. However, if you are interested in hearing a different aspect, then here is mine:
Your house seems to represent some kind of safe place, a haven, where those lions can't get you. Maybe this house is in fact you, and staying inside means keeping thoughts inside you? Avoiding social contact? The lions outside seem to be some kind of faceless thing that frightens you: if you leave the house (tell your thoughts freely, socialise with others, maybe with "the not so popular" people), they will hurt you. I don't think they represent any particular person, but more like "the outside world", "others", something you have not given a face, but you know they are out there. They are the ones who will disagree with you, if you really speak out your mind.
Now the other people; seems like you have summoned your thoughts inside you to help you to overcome this problem. How to escape the lions? How to make it so, that all these thoughts can come out of you and not be beaten down by those others? So, were you the first one to go out? And were you really eaten by a lion? If so, it was a brave thing to go outside. This is how you should act if your dream occurs again: face those lions. And beat them. You can do it, but those others can't. It has to be you, at least if you really want to get out of your house. When you go out, determined to beat those lions, you will notice that after a hard start it is quite easy.
So, I would interpret that you are facing new kinds of social desires, to express yourself in a different way. This is normal, as I suppose you are a teenager and all kinds of things are changing in your relations with other people. But at the same time, you are so afraid, that you are still "staying inside your house", keeping your thoughts with yourself. You are afraid that someone outside, maybe your family, your friends, or just "someone", is not going to like your new thoughts and will resist your efforts if you try to express them. Facing these enemies and beating them in your dreams would prepare and help you in the waking world to overcome your social fears and express yourself more freely.

Let me help
Lions = high authority
Eaten = control took over, criticized.
Several people or strangers =need support, insecure conscience.
Basically, this dream is about insecurity. You probably have some issues with high authority, in this case, female. It could be mother, female boss, or even co-workers or friends who claimed to be the leader or have more control over you. Being eaten could mean being criticized, or being taken oven in many ways. And the strangers or by standers you projected means that you are in need of support because you feel that you have insecure feeling at the moment. Subconsciously you don't feel right or fair in daily life, by projecting a female lion (which symbolized some powerful female figure )to eat people or you literally means that you have fear about those people who control and you are seeking for protection or way out.
I could be wrong, but that is how I see from your dream

This is a fear of your own instincts. Female cats are symbols of sexuality, big wild female cats are symbols of wild nature over which you have absolutely no control. The house is usually a symbol of yourself in general or your body in particular. Maybe deep in your unconscious you are strongly attracted to someone from the opposite sex, but your upbringing, cultural, religious or whatever values strongly contradict the free expression of physical desires. This is Mother Nature speaking to you, but through your human civilized prism you perceive this talk as a threatening growl of a pack of hungry lionesses.

The lionesses represent your pack of friends.
The eating means you are getting caught up in your friends activities that you have a problem with.
Ok.. thats just a guess.
