Everytime I try to access a particular website that requires Active X program I click ok and I get booted out of the Internet completely after sending the report to Microsoft. Any idea what can I do to solve this problem?

Have you tried to install the Active X from the information bar? SP2 blocks pop-ups and active X by default. You need to allow for the installation to occur.

first you need to disable error reporting,to do this right click my computer>advanced>error reporting>disable ....this will stop the errors needing to be sent
your active x installation should be fine now, also try uninstalling service pack 2 and download the latest version from http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/sp2/default.mspx,and re-installing it,it may be a bug in either sp2 or internet explorer thats causing this problem, also try internet explorer 7 beta from http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/default.mspx
