Do u believe tattoos are just another expression of art or are they trashy?

I have 4 tattoos and I dont consider them trashy...if your body is a temple why not decorate it with some art...lol

I think that everyone should decorate their body how they like, whether it be with jewlrey, muscles, tatoos, or by parading around nude... Tatoos are definately art, and like all art some being better than others. I personally believe the body itself is a beautifull work of art and shouldn't be covered up with too many tatoos.

I think it is a expression of art. Shows who you are and your personality. I don't have any tattoos yet, but that is because I am too scared, it will hurt to much. Plus I was pregnant, so I have to wait. Some tattoos can be trashy, if not designed correctly, but mostly they are a statment and beautiful

Tattoos are the form of human fantusy. Through different forms of tattoos people express their whims and fancies to others. It is a kind of symbolism that is been used for so many reason from saving one self from prying eye of opposit sex and sometime as the identity for perticullar tribes, cast or creed. And this days tattoos are painted with the same perspective. Only the instruments for the task are modern.

To the tattoo Artist it is art. To the one getting the tatto it has a meaning usually other than just art. My daughter has two and planing more they all have some meaning for her. Even before my daughter decided to get one, I did not think they were trashy.

Tattoos are a worldwide phenomenon and have been around for thousands of years. Many tribes in Africa, the South Americas etc use them within initiation rites for their young men.

Yes, I believe they are an art form, but they are more than that they are a symbol of belonging, of transition to adulthood or just pure decoration for the fun of it.

I believe I have seen a few tattoos that looked distastful but that is my own opinion and if someone wishes to put that on their body, more power to them. I have 2 tattoos and I want 2 more. The 2 I have is a rose and a heart. My next two I want is my name in Egyptian Heiroglyphics, and across my back I would like an Egyptian Princess speading her arms. I think a lot of people like to express their hobbies or lifestyle by getting a tattoo on themselves. I have seen a lot of tattoos and I think they are great.

it depends if the tattoos look good or are just corny,such as skulls,butterflies,stars, flowers or the face of their lover.some people can pull off the look without looking trashy and others can't.i thought that tats were hot at first but now i'm over that phase.i mean tats on other people are hot.they're not for me though.piercings are okay since they're not permanant.i prefer to express myself through various styles of clothing,hairstyles and make-up,which are all washable and easily changeable.

Sexy art most of the time. There are some really bad tattoos. Unless trained people really shouldn't give themselves tattoos lol.
