I am a freshman chem major and a child of a chem major. Chemistry is a very weird subject. Most chemistry majors (at most schools) will tell you that Chemistry 101 will be one of your hardest chemistry classes (at least at the school I'm attending).
Chemistry isn't an easy subject for anyone. It requires practice and you to STUDY!!!
Chemistry is very much so a challenge and you will need to develop good study skills within the first week of college. (Although it depends on your college, my school looks at CH101 as a class to root out all of the people in chemistry and engineering who shouldn't be)
