the world relies so much on computer n the internet. everything would slow dow a lot. there would b more people bored with nothin 2 do/ i mean just look at us wit yahoo answers?!! another thing is communication is so much faster with internet. can u remember a world without email or msn or chatrooms?!!! the world would go loopy if that connection was gone!

but, we lived once, not even so long ago without internet so i think we could cope without it some how. i dont know how, but we would cope. humans can cope with change/ a bit of time and creativity... can solve no interenet !! no internet?!! boo

Sounds like you need to get out of the house a little more.

Actually, if the internet was down, I'd have more time to read, clean, hang out with my family and friends, and other hobbies. However, I do this stuff anyway. I only sit on this thing in the mornings.

I'd go into withdrawl. Seriously. Not that I'm on it quite that much but I actually prefer the Internet to tv most days. It's my main means of communicating with friends since we all work different shifts.

It would mean less communicating with some members of my family and friends all living abroad so i would miss out on our google chats! Otherwise i'd go back to typing my reports on a typewriter and would do what i did when it took 5 weeks for me to get broadband ... Write daily to them all!

Bite your tongue girl, lol!

Guess we'd all have to visit the library again for information. Remember those? Oh, and we'd have to pick up the phone for conversation, and for written correspondence, we'd actually have to write *** gasp! *** SNAIL MAIL. Oh the horror, lol!

i'd leap for joy at the fact that i was free from it's evil control over my mind... then i'd panic because i was cut off from a potent source of info... i'd probably try to relieve my nervousness by building a time machine to try to stop the collapse of the internet (HEY! don't laugh... i NEED my internet comics, wikipedia entries, minute by minute news info, email, chat, online games, online music, and online pics... don't you?)
