The Small 'n' Cheap Yorkie Shop by Sears. Or NEW YORKIE! HAR!

You should use different words if you don't want your Yorkie to sound like a whore. Maybe "quaint and budget"...nope, doesn't work either.

I think what you really want is a Great Dane...sooooo much more cute. And just think, they have brains larger than a grain of sand!

Good Luck!

I own one and this is how I got him. I went to the local animal shelter. They didn't have any available at that time but I filled out an adoption sheet and they called me 3 days later. They had one brought over from another shelter. I brought him (Ching-Fu) for $115.00 w/ papers and shot.

Ching-Fu that has high standards and AKC breed excellency. I am proud to say that the beautiful Yorkie Puppies that came from a shelter. Maybe I just lucked up on a good one. I wish I could enclose a picture of him

If you want purebred cheap, get a puppy mill dog. They'll cost more in the long run with health problems, shorter lifespan, and training issues... but you get what you pay for.

A GOOD purebred yorkie may cost you $700+ when bought direct from a good breeder. Keep in mind it does cost alot to breed good purebred dogs. They have to buy really good quality breeding animals, pay huge vet bills (you'd be suprised!), and care for them. Just the time alone socializing the puppies can be almost a fulltime job in and of itself.

If you don't mind a mixed breed that looks like a yorkie, keep checking back with your local animal shelters. Also google "yorkie rescue" with your state's name. There are Rescues who specialize only in one breed.

Best of luck to you!

your dog will live for 10 -15 years..

do you really think getting the "cheap" on is a good idea??

not only are you probably supporting a cruel "puppy mill" (ususally where the "cheap" ones come from) where
a.) the mothers are kept pregnant and puppys are bred en masse to ensure that while half may die at least they can sell the other half to unscrupulous buyers
and b.) these aniamls are usually so poorly bred, by amateurs, out to make a quick buck that the dogs have congenital health problems and are more succeptible to disease and ill health.

If you feel you must get a purebred Yorkie - I urge you to seek out a REPUTABLE breeder.. not the cheap one

Free or nearly at the animal shelter,BUT!!!!!!!!!!!!! you get what you pay for! so if you spend $500 in Vet billz after you get home with it? Worth it?! best to shop around at the pet stores( if the shop is filthy= beware) Smells at the pet place should be about feed not feces or medicine. Since this is mostly a Indoor breed it should be on a leash when outside, please? It will not house train unless someone is nearby 24/7. Are you prepared to maintainence your puppy or young canine? lol
